Denali National Park is over six million acres of preserved wilderness that includes massive expanses of forest, glacial lakes, frozen tundra, and towering mountains - including North America’s tallest mountain, Mount McKinley. Originally established as Mount McKinley National Park in 1917, the park’s boundaries have increased greatly since establishment.
In 1976 President Carter designated the park as an international biosphere reserve, focusing on ecosystem conservation and prudent use of national resources. In 1980, Mt. McKinley National Park and Denali National Monument were incorporated to establish Denali National Park & Preserve. Today the park attracts over 400,000 visitors annually, who travel for the wildlife, scenery, and an opportunity to immerse themselves in pure, untamed wilderness.
Aramark has a unique partnership with Doyon Limited, a native corporation, which allows us to work closely with the largest private landowners in Alaska. Inside the park we also operate tour and shuttle buses and campground facilities. Roughly 300 employees live inside the National Park and it is open from May 15 to September 24.
At the Joint Venture we hire for the following positions each year: maintenance workers, CDL drivers, cooks, cashiers, dishwashers, campground hosts, and Wilderness Access Center agents.

When will I get paid?
Paychecks are delivered every other Saturday. Please note that it may take up to 4 weeks to receive your first check. Please plan accordingly.
Can I get direct deposit?
We strongly encourage employees to receive their paychecks via direct deposit. There are numerous benefits to this. You get paid faster than receiving a paper check and you will not need to keep large amounts of cash on you or in your room (especially if you cash your paycheck).
How do I sign up for Direct Deposit?
You must provide a blank voided check or a letter from your bank to the payroll department (no exceptions). It will normally take 2 pay periods before direct deposit will be activated.
First National Bank in Healy is available for those who want to open an account once they are at the Park. They offer a free checking account with direct deposit. You may contact them at 907-683-7750.
